Layers of Listening is an online somatic program exploring embodied listening as an active, relational state. It grew from personal and artistic inquiry into the body, shaped by the social structures we navigate, and informed by movement, perception, and the layered nature of attention.
The program proposes listening as a dynamic, multisensory, and reciprocal state. Through weight, environment, systems, gravity and relation. It asks how awareness moves through us, cognitively, sensorially, interpersonally, and biologicallyand how this movement can resift our perception and attention, in which we have a continuous choice.
Over four live sessions throughout 4 Saturdays, weekly movement scores for at home and writing prompts, we stay in what is tender, complex and true. To develop a practice of active listening that touches the personal, collective and ecological body.
With the body as site of knowing, Layers of Listening is a living inquiry into how we respond to complexity with care, curiosity, and choice — and how we evolve in relation.
